CRBT, PRBT and RBT are the common terms used in Nepal to represent Ring Back tones for different telecom operators of Nepal. According to Wikipedia - Ring-Back Tone or Audible Tone is defined as 
A ringback tone is an audible indication that is heard on the telephone line by the calling party after dialing and prior to the call being answered at the receiving end. It is normally a repeated tone, designed to assure the calling party that the called party's line is ringing, although the ring-back tone may be out of sync with the ringing signal.

Registering your own .NP Domain

.NP is the domain for Nepal. Domains are identifier address to websites hosted on web hosting servers at different locations on the cyberspace.

Till now .NP domains are available for free and is provided by Mercantile Communications Pvt. Ltd.

However, there are conditions to get a .NP domain. The conditions to get a .NP domain are as follows.

  1. One must be a Nepalese Citizen with a valid Nepalese Citizenship
  2. Or, the domain must be owned by a registered organization in Nepal for its official purpose
  3. Or, the domain must be for the purpose of some Brands owned by Firm/Company.

  3. Submit documents at the Mercantile office, Durbar Marg - to verify your credentials to support one among the three reasons above.
